use white vinegar and hot water, it will clean them up good as new.
kc "Joe V." wrote in message ... Got a couple tanks (30g, different dimensions) and an old refugium today for practically nothing. The refugium is made out of acrylic, and the tanks are glass. All items were sitting in a garage unused for a couple years, and have deposits of some sort on them. Any advice on how to clean these things up? I was also planning on resealing the tanks - should I scrape out the old sealant before applying new ones, or just scrub the old one as best as I can before resealing? Any advice/comments/suggestions would be appreciated! joe |
