![]() I can't stop my bristlenoses from spawning, if you live near Dallas you can have some. I also keep the more exotic species from the Amazon and they are wild caught. It is not uncommon to lose half or more of them, they will just never eat and can last for a pretty good while. Since you don't say what the fish was it is hard to know if that may be your problem. Ive just discovered 5 3/4 inch long bristlenoses in my community tank there is a muture pair in there too but i did just introduce some new weed. the question is could my pair of bred in a community tank or is it more likey that the small ones came in with the new plants.
