Imagine an aquarium room divider hung from the ceiling:
http://mocoloco.com/archives/000512.php

Not very practical for fish, filtering or cleaning, but fun to imagine in
your home ;~)

That looks really scary :-O I wouldn't be able to rest knowing I had 400 odd
liters suspended in the air. But it looked great :-)

Just think of the reinforcement you would have to do to the ceiling to hold
that weight.

I just didn't like the idea of it being so _flat_; I prefer thinking of
fish having a little more space.

Heh, the guy at the LFS tried to tell me that fish don't swim up or down, or
from the back of the tank to the front (rarely ever) but only from side to
side. Maybe he was the evil genius who thought of this tank...although I
agree with the others, it certainly does *look* pretty.

You should ask your LFS guy if the fish can tell the difference between the
front and back and sides of a hexagon tank.

They are pretty, but the 'photos' look suspiciously raytraced to me
(the last two obviously are ray traced, and the rest almost certainly
are). The company to which the design is attributed doesn't have a web
site (just a domain name), so I wonder if this has left the (to borrow
the term from Netmax) whimsical stage yet.
