The colour may become better as they age and mature.
But what do you have to lose by trying other foods? It seems to be working for other fish, and a single item diet is never a good idea in long range maintenance. Jim Wellman wrote in message .. . My convict cichlids that were born on February 7th are brown instead of green. Both parents are green with black stripes. Is there some food I can feed them to make them prettier? What do you suggest? At the moment I'm only feeding them Wardley's Cichlid flake food. I had the same problem with my blue gouramis so I bought them f-d tubifex worms and bloodworms and they're becoming more blue. Martin |
