From my experience I was able to seperate the males and females when they
were at 1-1/4. The males seem to grow faster but the females develop the orange on their sides. If you are going to breed them seperate them from others because they become very aggressive towards any fish that get near the eggs. "Austin" wrote in message ... Does anyone know about what size a convict reaches sexual maturity? Also, how long before you can tell sex? I know females get the redish/orange spot. Thanks. Austin |
