It's been a while since I've been there (I live in Rice Lake, WI). I do,
however, remember a world of fish. This was a descent store.

I get most of my African Cichlids from a store here in Rice lake called Pets
for You. This particular store has a fairly ok selection for being in a
smaller town. I picked up a male Kenyi from there. It was mislabeled, but
I find a lot of store have that problem.

Isn't A World of Fish a big chain like Petco?

No. There may be others around but it's not a chain or related to any chain
stores.

Dude, no this is definatly not a chain store at all... it is prolly
one of the Twin Cities Metro areas "better" LFS. It is all locally
owned and like other people have said there probally are other stores
called "A World Of Fish" that are not owned by the same group today.

Im sorry if I sound like a promoter and a know it all about this
place, but I dont say things that I dont know the whole truth about
and I have talked with the owner before and he has told me that it is
all locally owned and has no other stores. Not trying to bash anyone
here just giving out what knoledge I have on the store.

Its intriguing that your so well informed about the company to the point
of certainty about other potential franchises and their ownerships.
Would one reasonably assume you are connected with this establishment
in some way? I mean really, what LFS basic customer would know so much.

Are you a shill? A sock puppet? Please tell me.....

PS. I have definately seen a dozen or more Fish stores named A World of
Fish, and also, A World of Pets in other states.

I know for a fact the one in the Twin Cities is NOT a chain. There very
well could be a chain store with the same name out their, but these guys are
not a chain.

bit of a disproportionately aggresive response, don't you think?
