Default Red Devil

They could get along, provided bluegill is much small than RD and is not
treated as a threat by RD, you chance will get better if you have other fish
in the tank too.

My foot long Red Devil rules my 180G with a dozen of tankmates, some are as
little as 2", RD's are very territorial but not highly piscivorous, in a
tank large enough, they tend to leave smaller tankmates alone, they could
still kill other fish if they feel threatened by them though.

I was at the LFS and seen a large red devil for sale and was wondering
what other kinds of fish would co habitat with a red devil, I have a
180 gallon tank that I've been wanting to put bluegill in, could the
red get along with them?
