Default Do Oscars like Salt?

I always add a bit of Salt in my Goldfish aquariums.
I wonder if Oscars like a bit of Salt in their water?
If so what concentration?

Well it says something about Amazonian fish not likeing it.
I know an Oscar is Amazonian, but he dosen't list it in his
"fish that don't like" salt.

So I'm still at a loss... Do Oscars prefer salt or not?

Salt in an Oscar aquarium is irrelevant, unless there's enough in the
tank to do damage. I wouldn't bother with thinking about it or go
through the effort of trying it.

However, ironically enough, Baron de Cuvier, the individual who first
"catalogued" Oscars, thought they were salt-water fish; he discovered
them (quoting him) "at ocean off Brazil".

The Amazon has a high enough flow rate that the water is still nearly fresh
in the Atlantic Ocean over 150 kilometers from Macapa on the Amazon delta.
He probably found Oscars there.
