om... "NetMax" wrote in message ... "Lance Lamontagne" wrote in message . .. from Asia: I'd be hesitant to recommend an easy breeder, (and I'm not going to consider Blood Parrots or Flowerhorns as Asian).... but once you get a Mozambique mouthbreeder to breed, you will have no shortage of fry ;~) Well, you did miss the Asian classification. Mozambique is hardly an Asian coutry. The only cichlids I know that exist in Asia are the Etropolus kind better known as chromids ! RAF Well I couldn't list a brackish water chromide as easy to breed ;~) , and besides, naming does not automatically indicate the only area a fish occupies, only its origin of discovery. For example, the Monodactylidae have a variety of names, and are claimed to be indigenous by more than one country. Fish which move between Australia and Africa and/or along the coast under India could be considered Asian. I don't know if the Mozambique mouthbreeder fits this description, (I'm only guessing) but if it crossed the sal****er straits to reach Mozambique, there's a good possibility ;~) -- www.NetMax.tk |
