Keep away from the multi sided tower,, I've got one of those hexagonal
things, Very small area for gravel, UGF's are a joke, you can't reach the bottom to plant. hard to keep clean, Vacuuming the gravel is a pain, you need a solid pipe to reach down, and the siphon's hard to start. The things got a few gourami's in it , and there not happy.. I was thinking of turning it on it side, make a glass end, and cut a section out of one of the sides, it would need some sort of cradle to sit in, to distribute the weight. No wonder it was cheap.. bassett Craig wrote in message ... a previous post got no replies so I thought I'd try it. the standard rectangle? multi-sided tower? Does it matter? Craig |
