Hello,
I have a pearscale that is about 5" long. He had a white sore that almost looked like a scale had popped out. I kept an eye on him for about a week and did salt dips during that time. Looking at him yesterday, the spot at developed into a pinkish/red sore. Almost like a "hole". It is located on his lower side near anal fin. Any suggestions? Should I continue the dips? Should I quarentee? Thanks, Ed |

I have a pearscale that is about 5" long. He had a white sore that
almost looked like a scale had popped out. I have a 3" pearlscale that this happened to. It looked like one of the scales had torn or popped. I treated the damaged area by rubbing a bit of Neosporin on the area. It healed in a couple of days. He's fine now. |
