Depends on the size of your tank and the bubble rate. For my 55 gallon

Can't equate what a 20oz tank does versus my 5lb tank, but mine lasts me

It fluctuates bad, from season to season, some times there is an

My 5lb last for 5 months @ 90 bubbles per minute. I am using home depot

I guess if your water supply changed in terms of KH that could happen.
