I used the same problem with the cat tails in the middle of my pond, I used
a 20 gal "tree" pot, filled it halfway with rock, set the potted cat tail in the pot and filled the rest with rock...had a couple of pretty good wind storms since, no more falling over. "Heritage58" wrote in message ... How do I keep a 6 foot tall (and spreading) plant upright? Aside from ties (like the technicians working in Pisa) what are the alternatives? The pond is 4' deep.
