Default Blood Worms

I saw some packets of live blood worms in my local pet shop and was thinking
of getting some for my 3 goldfish.

The worms were in (presumably) blood (well the liquid was very red anyway!),
does it matter if any of this blood gets in to the tank?

Basically I'm not sure what to do with the worms once I have them, and any
advice would be appreciated, i.e. do I feed them live, what portions etc.

They also had live brine shrimp, which would be best?

Thanks

Andrew

Default Blood Worms

Hello
My pet shop recommended the freeze dried variety. They said they are still
quite fresh, not sure how good their advice was but my goldfish love havig a
pinch full every other day or so!

Default Blood Worms

I generally feed my fish half a frozen blood worm tablet a day. I split it
using a big knife. When I had a police raid on my house (a neighbour had
seen me carrying PC's backwards and forwards between my and a friends house
and got suspicious) they were convinced that the dark tablet wrapped in
cling film in the freezer was drugs. It was only after I explained it was
fish food and emptied it into a fish tank he understood...
