Hi

I am in the process of setting up a sump but I thought that the fish
and inhabitents needed the flow in the main tank?

Thanks

Stuart, I never recieved your original message, but 2 MaxiJets in a 90g sounds woefully inadequate,
for a reef. You might need as many as 6 to get enough circulation to avoid dead spots.

Really? 6 powerheads? Surly the fish won't be strong enough and will get
blown around the tank? Do fish get dizzy?

Thanks

Stuart

Alright guys, is there a different way I can access the messages from the
newsgroup? I'm regularly missing messages, such as the one Capfusion quoted
below. I need a different entry point apparently, as my ISP is not keeping up
with all new posts! grrrrr

6 powerheads in a 90g is nothing. It is an eyesore though. I had 4 in my
29g a while back, but now I have only 1 since the closed loop was incorporated a
few months ago. You can see that on my website, linked below.

You will be surprise how good those fish will handle it it. They may do a
wave surfing.

Click "Advanced Search" and type the name of the newsgroup and subject in
the appropriate fields. It's a wonderful way to search the archives, too.

Same is with Ameritech/SBS I use in Chicago area.
That is the reason I use Polish server from home.

Look for a different news server and configure it into your Outlook Express
or any other email/news client. You can also install "Hamster" local news server
and feed it with articles from more than one remote server to have all posts.
If not sure, write me an e-mail before weekend. I am leaving for week an 1/2
of vacation so will not be able to respond later.

Right, but not so good for day-to-day activities.
