true. fish cannot digest complex carbohydrates, fats or proteins. it goes in one
end, comes out the other and fouls the tank. too much of this food just constipates OR gives a fish diarrhea. Ingrid "Happy'Cam'per" wrote: John, feeding them as you have been doing would be fine once a week or so as a treat but I don't think it wise to do it more often than that. Fish are'nt geared for digesting overly rich protein foods, you may find some of them suffering from health probs at a later stage, stick to the store food, thats what its designed for! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List Manager: Puregold Goldfish List http://puregold.aquaria.net/ www.drsolo.com Solve the problem, dont waste energy finding who's to blame ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Unfortunately, I receive no money, gifts, discounts or other compensation for all the damn work I do, nor for any of the endorsements or recommendations I make. |
