Default Goldfish's natural habitat has salt?

Seems very low Ingrid. I already use one cup of salt into a 60g tank
which is 4 teaspoons per 5 gallons.

3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon

Your 156 ppt should be 1.5%, not .15%

15% would be 15 pph (parts per hundred)
1.5% would then be 15 ppt.

To get a rough 0.3% salt solution I always use 1 tablespoon per gallon.

getting old and I need all the memory aids I can remember).
