nice but you really need to up these to either a web page, or a binary groups so people
can see them, try alt, binaries.aquaria not every news server d/l's binaries from non binary groups -- -- richard reynolds "logan" wrote in message et... Everyone, I got a new Olympus C-4000 digital camera this weekend and took a few macro shots of some of my corals. For a guy that's never used a camera before, I think these came out pretty good. The pix are small (less than 75kb each), so I attached them. Let me know what you think. I didn't touch them up yet in Photoshop, but I'm so excited about what this camera can do that I decided to post them anyway. Kyle |

Nice pics, a few suggestions:
Use a tripod to steady the camera so you can set a slower shutter speed and a smaller f-stop, that will give more depth of field (more in-focus front to back). Use the self-timer function on the camera to snap the photo so you don't get any finger shake. Set the ISO to the lowest setting for you camera (100 instead of Auto) that will give you a finer grain (just like real film). Shut off all the pumps so there is no movement. Eric C.
