Since it is local to me, I thought I would give a "BLOB" update.
The state of NJ experts decided to cut it up and disperse it. In the
same breath they said they still don't know what it was.
I seem to remember somebody cutting up starfish to get rid of
them.(each arm grew a new body)
Don't these experts ever learn???????

They should blow it up like they did with that whale.

Central Nerve Ganglion: inconspicuously located between the mouth and the anus, with a major nerve tract extending into each arm of the lophophore

I know some people this would describe. Mostly Democrats, is the mechanism for speach...

And let this be a warning to all ponders who neglect the fall cleaning of
their bottoms (pond bottoms that is). ;o) ~ jan

Nobody would have thought of anything butt pond bottoms if you hadn't hinted
at the "other" bottom. At least I don't think so. I could be wrong. ;-)
Bob

Hinted? I wasn't trying to hint, as you obviously show, I need to DRAG this
group kicking and screaming into the gutter..... where the water is. ;o)

Oh man, that was one of the biggest farces I have ever seen. Just imagine a
25 pound chunk of rotting whale blubber falling on your car. Whoever hatched
that scheme should have been made to clean up the mess.

I have an MPEG of it. It is huge, but I'll post it on my web site, if anyone
wants it.

huge chunks of whale blubber fell everywhere."
