Mine works best if you turn it full on then back it down to where the water
is just barely being pulled in. The foam it takes in will settle into gunky
looking water. It doesn't usually stay in the foam *form*.

I recently purchased the Prizm skimmer.

The tank on top that is supposed to hold foam, is full of water.
To the top.

Is this normal?

I thought it should be full of foam.

Is this cause it is a new tank?
