Mercury produces most of the light, say + 95 %. and there is some temporary ionization, there has to be, if not where do all the electrons come from that are flying around. Ionization is when something losses or gains an electron. Even once ionized the electrons can fall/come back into orbit.. ..... and all this proves that overdriven NO bulbs are perfect spectrum-wise and last exactly 180 days before they must be replaced!
