Do Mandarins often hang out in a remote corner of the rockwork then
disappear for a couple weeks? I occaisionally see a flash of movement in a cave but I'm not sure if it's him or not. Thanks, Dan |

I've never had mine disappear for a couple of weeks, but certainly a few
days will go by without seeing him. "Dan Norgard" wrote in message ... Do Mandarins often hang out in a remote corner of the rockwork then disappear for a couple weeks? I occaisionally see a flash of movement in a cave but I'm not sure if it's him or not. Thanks, Dan |

well mine will disappear for a day or two and then suddenly reappear when
it's feeding time but I think he's feeding off the copepods in my rockwork. Robin |

Thanks, Dan Normal Mandarin behavior is that they are constantly hunting for food by searching all of your rocks for food. I see mine do this daily. If yours has been missing for two weeks, it doesn't sound promising. |
