actually, 38 liters. 76 liter minimum. it is a stability issue. with 20 g/76l\ L
the temp wont usually swing so fast. GF start out small, but they grow fast and for most GF 10 gallons per is enough. for large round fancy GF, 10 gallons wont be enough. GF are really very dirty and because the idea is to keep the nitrates at or below 20 ppm smaller tanks mean changing water more than once a week. Thats a lot of water. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List Manager: Puregold Goldfish List http://puregold.aquaria.net/ www.drsolo.com Solve the problem, dont waste energy finding who's to blame ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Unfortunately, I receive no money, gifts, discounts or other compensation for all the damn work I do, nor for any of the endorsements or recommendations I make. |
