I'm not sure what the differences are other than price but am sure someone
here could tell us. I would suggest, based upon my own frustrating experience, that you make sure to get the square-pin design. They are much more plentiful and a little cheaper. Also can be hard to find 96W straight-pin in certain colors. Personally I would also recomend using a canopy and retro-kit. Looks WAY better, may keep tank a little quieter, also light is a little cheaper. If you could provide more info it would be helpful to give advise.... where did you find them?
