I know you asked for "centerpiece fish" suggestions, but with all that
testosterone floating around in there don't you think a "peaceful community"
would be better served by adding a few females?
It spreads the aggression around in a most helpful way.

actually all of my male livebearers get along great. 1 of the
swordtails hangs out with the guppies a lot even. it was the tetras
that were the mean ones at first, that why i added a few more of them
so they would focus on schooling instead of biting at the others
tails. plus, i don't want them reproducing, my tank isn't THAT big,
if the fry were to survive. but i did think about adding some females
because my blonde tuxedo guppy was always trying to "get" with my 1
swordtail. he doesn't seem to mind much anymore, but still...

as for angelfish, i don't know if i would have enough time to invest
in them. i know they are harder to keep and stress quite easily. i
did have a pair before i knew what i was doing and i regret that
because they both died... oops. i'd like a fish that was more hardy
so i don't have to worry about stressing them out too much.
