He spent most of the day yesterday inside the castle. Got home this evening to find him out and about. I wondered if he'd come out when he got hungry! Yeah, everything seems fine now. Cheers. Just one other thing (and I think I probably already know the answer to this) - would it be inadvisable to put a few minnows in with the Betta? It is a 5 U.S. gallon tank. Thanks. Hi All, Yep I have had Betta's in a tank with other fish no problems. The only thing is they do not like it when the PH level is messed around with. I live in Australia and the highest PH level in ordinary tap water is 7.5. Which is high but not high enough where the fish won't eventually adapt. So I do not add any PH additives to the water and all my fish are fine. I only put in water Ager when I change a 1/4 of the tanks water, this is so the clorine gets killed. I recently had Zebra Danios, and found them to be quite noisy. They do get on with other fish, but will bite/nip if left to long without a feed. At the moment I have Neons, the beautiful Rummy nose tetra's, Guppy's, Gourami's and a couple of sucking fish, all in a 120litre tank. They all get along no one is bossy and all are great schooling fish. Cheers |
