I once had a fire mouth, that was rather aggressive. He was much more
aggressive than a blue accara. He kept picking on the bigger fish in the tank and they finally killed him. I have read that they are supposed to be peaceful, but my firemouth was not. The blue accara however is very peaceful. "Len" wrote in message ... I have a 55 gallon tank with 5 firemouths and a raphael cat. I 'm looking for something to add to the tank for a little variety and color. Someone at my LFS suggested blue acaras. One of the other workers there( a younger worker) didn't seem so sure if this combination would work. Any ideas regarding this combination. Has anyone successfully kept these fish together before?
