Someone is making money somewhere, and it is not only from lawsuits.
My elderly mother had heartbypass and the total figure, including all recuperative care outside of the hospital, came to well over $500,000. The surgery per se was about 30% of that. Medicare paid its part and we had secondary insurance. Now you know where your taxes go.
