Feeding Fish Groceries

If it took your fish 2days to eat it you fed them too much. In water at
25C that is teeming with bacteria and funghi by what magic did you stop
the stuff from rotting?

It took a while for the fish to pick apart the shrimp tissue. It is
not flake food, it does not disintegrate. I leave vegetable in the
tank for 3 days. It takes a while for the vegetable matter to loosen
up. If you throw a piece of broccoli or zucchini into the tank and
remove them within 25 minutes, it is likely none of it will be eaten.
This is especially true if you are feeding Plecos. It takes them a
while to discover the food, and they really only feed at night. So,
if I were to remove the vegetabe after 20 mins, my plecos will starve
to death. To answer your question, there is no magic. The stuffs do
rot, but they don't rot instantaneously. If they do, people will die
if they take more then 10 minutes for dinner. Is that clear yet? Oh
btw, do you know that the air is teeming with bacteria and mold an
fungus spores too? Do you see people dropping dead like flies around
you? Think about that a little will you? Once again, there is no
magic. Sorry to disappoint you.
