Temp of the water affects how the fish act. O's prefer a warm
enviroment. if the water is to cool, it opens them up to all sorts of problems, and of course they will not act normally. However the range you have had have them in is normal. The nipping, fighting ect, is a normal behaviour at their present size. I think they are trying to establish dominace. So I would not be overly concerned. Keep and eye on the fish, and make sure the "scares" are healing. Mine have had some pretty nasty ones happen, but they have all healed quickly. -- Posted via CichlidFish.com http://www.cichlidfish.com/portal/forums |
