The hoods that come with the tanks usually limit you to "low light" plants. For more varieties get a tank hood that provides more than 3 watts per gallon. I have nothing but low light tanks. While the plant selection is limited, those that I have are doing well and have spread to fill the tank. I agree, bigger tanks are easier to maintain to be honest! I have a 63 and a 15, the 63 is much easier to look after (Especially as I have no gravel in it) |
