When I set up my 29g years ago, I bought to True Perculas.
After about 2 years, one jumped out of the tank, through a very narrow spot. Honestly, it had a 50/50 chance of falling right back into the tank, but chose the wrong way to wriggle. ![]() It was very sad, as they were a beautiful pair. I still have the other one, that is now 7 years old. It has mated with a False Percula and lays eggs every 2 weeks. Marc Colleen wrote: One of a pair of percula clowns jumped out of the tank last night. I'm trying to figure out if there was a reason for it, or if it was just an unlikely jump. There are no other fish in there yet, besides the remaining clown, just a chocolate chip star, a small emerald crab and a clean up crew. Tank size- 55 gal ammonia- 0 nitrites- 0 pH- 8.2 nitrates- 10 salinity - 1.0235 TIA, Colleen -- Personal Page: http://www.sparklingfloorservice.com/oanda/index.html Business Page: http://www.sparklingfloorservice.com Marine Hobbyist: http://www.melevsreef.com |
