Overflow noise...Newbie question

I'm going to try the Durso standpipe first. It looks like a good design
also.
Anything better will make my wife happy.

i use 2 'Durso's' on my 180 and they are very quite. also haveing the water
not drop all the way to the bottom of the overflows helps as well, i keep
mine about 2" down from water level.

went and got me one of them things called a "DIVORCE". they didnt have them
at the LFS so i had to special order one via the court system and pay in
advance.

I never hear a complaint about my tanks anymore.

Yikes...That's a high price to pay just to keep noisy tanks. I think I'd
just purchase $15.00 worth of PVC and construct a quieter system for my
overflow.

well this last time (this ain't my first rodeo) I filled for an annulment
and got that. still didn't get my digital camera back....... but I guess
all and all it is about the same thing. price wise it was anyways.

Thats a shame mate........................a digital Camera is a great loss
