I recently read that it seems overflow boxes using pumps are more
troublesome than those that don't, specifically losing siphon. I'm getting ready to start a 50 gallon tank with a 10 gallon sump. I've been debating between the Amiracle U-tube type and the CPR CS-50 with the aqua lifter. Which do you guys recommend? Thanks Scott |

No chance of losing siphon unless you lift the tube out of the water. If you are going with a sump then I would look into having your tank
drilled. That way you wouldnt have to worry about all the problems with a hang on overflow box. Drilling and the bulkhead should run more then 30 bucks or so depending on where you have it done. It would be a good investment considering the time and money you will be putting into this tank. Ken "Margolis" wrote in message ... "Skylove" wrote in message ...
