I appreciate everyones advice. I am not thinking of upgrading to a 55g.
Would my current filtration setup and other equipment be sufficient? I
know I will need to get more gravel, but I would like to keep everything
else the same, if possible.

You can't. No one's trying to be mean or anything, but the fishes you have and the aquarium you have are simply not going to work. The fish will be too large and aggressive. You either have to change the fish or upgrade the aquarium! No matter what you try, it's inescapable! --Mark
