eerm....ok so you have 12 fish right?

you need to take care on your water parameters over the next few weeks.
you will notice a rise in your ammonia levels as your nitrogen cycle
trys to settle and cope with the fish.if your ammonia gets too high the
carry out regular but small water changes to keep it sttled.

The tank is already cycled, as I said. I am of course monitoring the
water conditions, ammonia and nitrites are zero. The nitrogen cycle is
already established.

personally i would have only put in a couple of fish.....but you might
be lucky and get away with it this time..

The whole point of doing fishless cycling was so that I could add the
cichlids all at once, thus allowing them to establish their territories
within the tank, and avoiding having newcomers picked on.
