Default Newbie Question about Live Rock

This will probably be a stupid question, but when adding "Live Rock" to my
tank, what do I need to do? Do I need to add supplements to the water?

Thanks

No, just put it in, assuming it is fully cured.

Default Newbie Question about Live Rock

It is fully cured (Or at least thats what I was told) but it all looks
rather plain now, and I've been reading about supplements for live rock on
site like liveaquaria.com
Any ideas? Or maybe just not cured?

Thanks
MH

Default Newbie Question about Live Rock

If it smells clean and looks clean, put it in. In a matter of weeks you'll see
all kinds of life teaming in your rockwork.

Default Newbie Question about Live Rock

Had the tank set up a little over a year, adding Live rock piece by piece.
All the rock looks/smells clean, but have seen nothing in the way of
"critters" in the live rock.

Default Newbie Question about Live Rock

Tonight after the lights are out for a while, get a flash light and study the
rock for a while. You'll see nothing at first, but then you'll begin to notice
movement. Worms, bugs, feather dusters and more....

Default Newbie Question about Live Rock

As Marc said, and if you don't see anything take heart. You can always
reseed your rock using garf grunge(tm). www.garf.org. (much cheaper, and
much lighter, than new liverock). I know a fellow that made all his rock
with aragocrete and used GG to bring it to life. A year later his setup
looks like a Salter's paradise.

If you do see things this is a helpful site to identify some of the little
guys:
http://www.reefs.org/hhfaq/index.html

Also, Indo Pacific Sea Farms offers worms and seeding stock too.
