Are you reffering to the brown slimy coat that is common in a new tank
after about a month? If it's brown diatoms, then ottocynclus "ottos" catfish will take care of it in no time. Then, when the brown stuff is gone and the bright green algae start to appear, the ottos will start in on that! steve |
