There's the ever popular www.cichlid-forum.com
There's thousands of members and posts there.
Then there's my favorite, www.fishaholics.org but I may be biased as the
co-owner.

posting pictures here isnt something i like doing. i prefer web-based forums
as opposed to usenet. dont get me wrong, usenet has its perks, its just not
the tool i prefer using for research info.

Newsgroups still get a bit of traffic, that's why I still drop in, but as
Agent Smith says, on forums you can post pictures. Joining a website gives
the benefit of having a place to upload pictures to also as well as
inputting tanks. There's chat rooms for instant gratification, and I think a
more personal environment, without the spam you get here. Plus, you get to
use smilies in your posts to help convey the mood that sometimes gets lost
in plain text. ;-)

Who you winkin' at, winky boy. What do you mean by that? You got a
problem with pirates? Why the attitude?!?

Funny. I strongly prefer usenet. The phpBB forums where I've been in
other hobbies didn't have a way to post graphics without uploading a
picture to my own webspace and linking anyway. *shrug* I think it
requires a little bit more sophistication to use usenet and work in text
only, so I think usenetters (including everyone in this thread) are a
little smarter and more interesting than the average webforum user.
*grin* Besides, who needs smilies? *wink, wink, nudge, nudge, know
what I mean?*
