If you have any doubts of whether or not you are infected

go to

http://www.trendmicro.com/en/products/us/personal.htm

and run Housecall on your computer. Even running Norton

and Auto
Update I STILL got nailed by this little bugger for the

very reason
you state.

Dave

Thanks for the recommendation.

open address book,
add new,
name = .000
email =

this will auto. go to top of list and
when a virus looks it will see whole address
book as bogus and usually stop there

http://www.mailwasher.net
when installed it will download headers only and you
can check boxes for what needs to be deleted
follow directions on website, its simple to use

Thank you, Ken. Sure appreciate your help. I haven't followed your
directions yet but will.

If anyone is interested, a local landscaper called me yesterday and is
supposed to show this morning to give me an estimate on finishing my pond.
The pond, incidentally, is full of water, thanks to Isabel. However, it
will slowly drain out. My basement was also full of water, thanks to
Isabel. I think it gets in through the drains, judging from the evidence.
Gotta find a way to plug them next time we expect rains from a hurricane.
The same thing happened when Fran went over but never except those two
times. The rain comes down so hard and so fast that, even though we are on
the side of a hill, it doesn't run off quickly enough.

Again, all that is neither here nor there. Thanks again for the help.

I'll stop bothering y'all after this one. Just hired myself a landscaper to
finish my pond. He said it would only take about a day to finish it
including the plumbing and he could do it for $1,000.00 or less. So by this
time next Sunday I should have a pond with a working waterfall.

Had a wonderful morning showing him my place and discussing everything under
the sun.

Will send pictures later if I ever find out how to put them on a web page.

I asked my computer geek and this is what he said:

***I don't think this will stop newer viruses, but since you'll get the
bounce message eventually you'll know something is going on, but too late
to do anything about it. The real solution is to use anti-virus software
and check for updates every day. The problem with stuff like this is it
gives a false sense of security.***

So I'm a tad confused (what else is new, I know) does the e-mail listed
below stop them, or does one just get it bounced back as mentioned above?
