What is the ideal temperature for a fantail goldfish. I have seen the

range

between 64 to 74 degrees F

I bred ryukin and fantail at 70 degrees F (21 C)

These foto is from today ~11:30 AM, 70 F, Ryukin and Fantail are breeding in
tank:

In the moment in my pond (fantail and ryukin) the temperature is near 50 F
( 10C ) in winter they are under the ice

Under ice? 10 C doesn't seem too cold for freezing weather! So that
layer of ice on the pond is quite a good insulator.

I think 10C is at the moment, rather than when the pond is iced over...
