Sunset Platy seems hurt, please help

You can isolate him and/or treat the tank with a mild anti-bacterial remedy
to speed the healing... something like Melafix or salt should be enough
unless the wounds are heavily infected. Isolating the fish may be tricky
if you don't have a quarantine tank as isolating it in the tank may just
stress it out further, but it is better than allowing it to attacked again.

If you don't find the culprit during the day time, try turning the lights
out a couple hours earlier than normal and watch for the attacker then.

Actually both my platies appear to be female now that I got a good
look. I'm guessing Females aren't usually agressive towards each other
right?

They can be... especially if you only have one pair. In larger groups
aggression is usually dithered out as no one fish is easily singled out.

I've had platys for years and never saw them show aggression towards each
other. Even the males get along. Someone else may have had a different
experience with them. I have the Mickey Mouse and the Sunburst platys but
now they've crossed so I have mutts. :-)
