I was looking around for info on the diffurent Protien Skimmers and was

heard of this but it looks to be interesting and would like to get some
input on the product has anyone used it before or are using now I dont have
the $$ to just spend to test a product out hehe thanks for the input in

As others have already said, this looks "iffy". However, if you're
looking for a skimmer, you might want to consider the CPR refugium/
skimmer combo. Not the best skimmer, and not the best refugium, but
both are good, and the combo's at a decent price.

Default Eco Aqualizer or Skimmer?

I would buy a Coralife Super Skimmer in a heart beat over any Eco
Aqualizer. On yet another web based forum, there was a fairly bad pi$$
ing contest between posters in regards to the Eco Aqualizer and its so
called claims to fame.....4 or 5 of them wound up being hard headed
abd bought the units. Initially they were all bragging on what they
were expecting and what was happening, and within a month 3 fessed up
it initially did help, or so they thought it did, but their water
quality was as bad and maybe even worse and two of them had problems
when they tried toget a refund 9n the money back warranty. Anyone can
put up outrageous claims and bogus testimonials on the internet. The
truth being is in the old addage, if it appears to be too good to be
true it probably is not true. Most folks could smell a scam or semi
scam here from the start, others bit for it hook line and sinker. Its
a typical product that should join the like of the items they sell
between the hours of 1am and 4 am on TV.

Its hard to beat a coral life super skimmer for providing best bang
for the buck. And a 5 or 10 gal all glass aquarium is just to cheap
to but and modify into a sump and or refugium than the typical acrylic
CPR products, even if yu have to drill the tank to use it, as its a
relatively straight forward job of drilling a glass tank and is doable
by virtually any home type. Its more hype involved than anything else
and is as easy as 1, 2, 3.On Tue, 13 Jun 2006 03:07:26 +0000 (UTC),

Not every tank can be drilled.
Good luck drilling the ones with tempered glass...
