I have never ever owned a single cichlid, but I bought two at the fish store
because they were on sale. These fish have ripped the tails and dorsal fins off of my puffer fish, my Cory catfish and anything else in the tank. Before they kill everything in the tank, I removed them and put them in the crayfish tank to teach them a lesson and have them chased and bit for a change. The Cichlid are ruling the crayfish tank. The crayfish are chased constantly by the Cichlids. If they go near any food or come out for a walk, these Cichlids attack like it's a life and death match. This is fish is young and small, what is going to happen if it gets bigger? .. will they actually kill crayfish? .. are they that vicious? ........ Noah Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada |
