Any species in proximity that can have viable offspring, do. In
Theosophy, the Apes are reported as being offspring of humans and
beasts.

Hybrids have always been the leasure of mankind. Abominations are what
some called apes.....probably so as they look a lot like both. Bears
seem oddly like dogs and cats gone wild.
