Default flower Horn fish

hello
just interrested to get in touch with ppls who possess cichlasoma
trimaculus ? or FlowerHorn fish?
i started with this fish which i kew little about, if i have to admit!

a cichlasoma trimaculus , it was only few inches long, and in two months
the
bugger is about 13 inches long, but god i love him, he is so pretty!
anyway, after disaster struck, and he kil some of my newts and aquatic
frogs(the big one, xenopus types!!!) i move him to the tank of the turtle,
on his own with some crabs,
so far he has try to kill the turtle, but eh, matey i think this time,

game
is over, hopefully!
today went to a shop and find what look like excactly like my male fish,

but
call hornflower, a hybrid of them, and parrot fish.
beautifull female, nearly the same size, which i am sure will help

agression
at first,, but i did what the guy in the shop told, and put the female in

a
pexpliglass for the next two weeks, time boths get used to each others!

funny
but they colours are changing already, apparently due to matting, i try
first, (temtation!) to let them free together, but the male was chassing

the
female ressently!

! and i beleive would have kill her, which is why the shop
keeper told me to separed them for few week only till they falls in
love....
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i love a love story!
anyway, i never saw a fish so agressive.he kill already in the past my
xenopus and newts! +fishs!
so now, he only live in a very big tank with his future mistress, and
turtles( who don`t care about them) and crabs!
so the deal is i have a male cichlasoma trimaculus and a hybrid

hornflower female (which by the way are not cheap!),
who look almost identical...i was told those breed easily?

anyone with this type of fish, and infos, i would be ever so grateful if u
can help me to know more, i like them....so much...
as much as agressive as there are!
thank u in advance
MR Herve

i am always afterbew infos about those and the luckies ones who possess
some....

bestregards
Herve
