Default 1993 Explorer Remote Programming?

OK, I have the programming instructions but what does it mean when it says
"Momentarily jump pins in programming connector". I know it's in the L/R
quarter section but there are several wires, clips, etc. Anyone done this
before? I just bought a remote and need to program it.

Thanks for the help--------
