Default tail turned blood red

well photos dont work in the newsgroup, but the white stuff covering the eyes is
slime coat and the major cause of thick slime coat is toxic water. then you added
antibiotics which is not only adding to toxicity, but in worst case kills the
biofilter making the water really really toxic.
the major cause of red streaking in fins and body is toxic water.
EMERGENCY
1. check the water parameters: pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrates
2. change some or all of the water for the next 5 days, add 1 teaspoon salt per 5
gallons water

Pat,

I'd still follow Dr Solo's advice. Water quality is the cause for a large
proportion
of problems in fish.
