Hi there,

just starting up a couple s/w tanks

for now to be FO tanks
and am looking for some live rock and live sand for the sumps/refugiums to
help with filtration etc and a few pieces of live rock for each tank for
decoration.

i am in Southern Ontario (Canada) so if anyone is wanting to part with some
stuff, please let me know - am willing to drive to pick up etc. as long as
prices are reasonable.

I have listed my equipment below - so if you have any suggestions also,
please pass them on as the knowledge base here is quite superb!

in the future i may move more into a reef style system, but want to get a
grasp on the s/w first as from the last year of reading this group and many
books before taking on this adventure i have decided to make sure i have
experience first and get into the hobby a little slow - take my time and
learn - as to keep fatalities to a minimum and enjoy the learning cure.

have all the equip (as far as i know)

2x65 gal tanks (display)
2x40 gal tanks (sumps)
tanks drilled accordingly and mag 5 return pumps
in-sump protein skimmers
6 powerheads/tank for flow
2x175 watt MH + 2x 40 watt NO flourescent/tank
sumps are built more like refugiums than just sumps and are mounted *above*
the tanks so the benefit of the refugium can be fully taken advantage of
they also have their own seperate lighting which will be on an opposite to
the tanks

any info or help is appreciated and again, if you have any LR and/or LS you
want to part with - please let me know!

am going to cycle with rock or dead shrimp as i don't agree with live fish
tank cycling... seems like such a waste to me.
