Default 'baby' out with the bathwater??

ok, I started clearing out the excess *STUFF* from my pond this weekend (the
water hyacinth & lettuce) before it go too cold & would take me forever to
do this in COLD water.
I 'tried' to be careful, scooping the stuff off the top & tossing it in
a wheelbarrel,, checking it every now & then,, but I am now missing one of
my bigger redcapped orandas....... arrghhhhhhh

haven't seen it for days.... did I *sniff* toss it out ????

(some went into farm pond, & other stuff went into the burn pile...(5
heaping wheelbarrels full)

Default 'baby' out with the bathwater??

ok, fish finally showed up!!!

BUT she/it is acting ,,,,strange. it is just sitting in a lily planter,,,
just hovering about 6 " under the surface.. I tossed it food, it came up &
grabbed a few,, then is still sitting there IN the plant!

it was pretty darn social before,, was always into the fray for feeding in
the NORMAL area,, now it is hovering 8 feet away.
(now as far as I can tell it is the ONLY fish in the pond acting like this,,
& I have several orandas)

any ideas??????
